There is no specific recommended age to begin Botox® treatments—that depends on your aesthetic goals and your particular facial structure and expressions. In addition to treating existing facial lines, Botox® can also help prevent the formation of lines and deepening of wrinkles. Both men and women can be treated with Botox®.

A Botox® treatment typically lasts only 30 minutes for established patients. For new patients, we plan for a longer appointment to accommodate a comprehensive consultation that addresses patient questions and concerns. Most patients report little to no pain at the injection site, while others report that injections feel like a tiny pinch that subsides quickly. 

Your cosmetic nurse injector will provide you with after care instructions to ensure you know what to do post-treatment for optimal results.

Visible smoothing of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles may begin  to appear within 24 to 48 hours, with optimal results appearing in 10 days to 2 weeks. Results can last up to 4 months.

We ask that our patients come in after 2 weeks for a follow up appointment to make sure they are happy with the results.
