COOLTONE IS HERE
THE NEXT DIMENSION IN BODY CONTOURING
Allergan®, the leading company in medical aesthetics,¹ introduces the CoolTone device, the latest innovation to its body contouring portfolio.
THE COOLTONE DIFFERENCE
The CoolTone device has 50% more magnetic intensity than the leading competitor, measured in tesla (T) at the point of patient contact.²
The CoolTone device is FDA-cleared for toning, firming, and strengthening the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs.
The clinical significance of this data has not been established.
What is CoolTone?
CoolTone is a noninvasive body contouring device that addresses fat reduction, muscle toning, and skin tightening. CoolTone uses high-frequency electromagnetic technology to stimulate muscle contractions in a manner that cannot be achieved by voluntary contractions or normal exercise. The device increases strength and muscle mass by inducing maximal muscle contractions. Depending on your area of concern, it can be used to improve muscle tone in the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and/or arms.
How Does CoolTone Work?
The CoolTone device uses high-frequency electromagnetic energy to contour, firm, and build muscle in the area being treated. The device delivers high-frequency energy pulses to the area being treated, which induces supramaximal muscle contraction and enhances collagen structure, connective tissue, and blood circulation. Improved blood flow and collagen structure causes the skin to become more elastic, firm, and tight. The devise causes supramaximal muscle contraction. This results in the muscle tissue responding by remodeling its structure. And this leads to increased muscle mass and improved muscle definition and tone. CoolTone technology is a multi-faceted approach to body contouring as it simultaneously tones the muscles, tightens the skin, and reduces fat.
Is there any scarring or permanent damage?
No! The process is completely noninvasive, resulting only in strengthened muscles and definition.
Are Treatments Permanent?
CoolTone treatment will have lasting results with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Patients will see results immediately after treatment and results continue to improve for several weeks after treatment. As with muscle building from exercise and weight training, increased muscle mass is not permanent but can last for 6 months or longer. To maintain the results of CoolTone, it is recommended to have follow up treatments periodically.
How is CoolTone different from CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is already a proven way to get rid of excess body fat. It is already established as the #1 non-surgical fat reduction treatment used by doctors. CoolTone compliments the results of CoolSculpting by increasing muscle mass & toning existing muscles.
Can You Combine CoolTone and CoolSculpting Treatments?
In most cases, CoolTone™ will be performed in conjunction with CoolSculpting treatments. CoolSculpting is a non-surgical, clinically proven treatment that selectively reduces unwanted fat using a patented cooling technology.
CoolSculpting works by gently cooling targeted fat cells in the body to induce a natural, controlled elimination of fat cells without affecting surrounding tissue, and the treated fat cells are gone for good. In 2019, CoolSculpting was recognized for the sixth consecutive year by NewBeauty as a Choice Award winner.
Can CoolTone and CoolSculpting be done on the same day?
Yes, CoolSculpting and CoolTone can be performed back to back to maximize fat reduction & muscle toning. CoolSculpting would be performed first, followed by CoolTone.
Do CoolTone and CoolSculpting have to be done together?
No, CoolTone can be performed as a standalone treatment and does not have to be done together with CoolSculpting.
Are There Any Side Effects?
CoolTone is a noninvasive treatment and as such, there are virtually no side effects associated with the procedure. Immediately after treatment, some patients may experience redness or tenderness in the treated area. This typically resolves within minutes to hours.
HOW COOLTONE WORKS
The body’s response to these contractions is to strengthen its muscle fibers, resulting in improved muscle conditioning.
